Sanju Pradhan Mid-fielder

age 27 height (cm) 168

Sanju Pradhan is an Indian midfielder who plays for FC Pune City. He is considered to be one of the brightest football talents this country has produced. As a kid, Pradhan played for Namchi Sports Hostel and Sports Academy of Sikkim before moving to Air India in 2008. After a two year spell there, he moved to East Bengal in 2008 where he blossomed. At East Bengal, he won the Indian Federation Cup in 2009 and 2012 and the Indian Super Cup in 2011. He endeared himself to the club’s faithful by scoring against historic rivals Mohun Bagan in front of a crowd of 60,000 at the Salt Lake Stadium. He was made club captain following regular impressive displays and scored 10 goals in 72 appearances from the wing. He has also represented India at the senior level. His mazy runs from the wing, dribbling abilities and high work rate have made him a pivotal figure in every team he has represented, especially East Bengal. He turned out regularly for Atletico de Kolkata and North East United FC in the ISL 2014 and 2015 seasons respectively and has signed with us for this season. We look forward to more excitement down the right wing from Sanju Pradhan!
