A Gunner for life - Dharmaraj Ravanan is FC Pune City's defensive stalwart from Tamil Nadu. The versatile defender began his professional football career after catching the eye of Dempo SC coach in 2005 while playing for Indian Bank in Bangalore as a promising 19 year-old. Having turned out for the best of I-League sides - Dempo, Mohun Bagan and Mahindra United in the 5 seasons that followed; Ravanan joined Churchill Brothers in 2011 and embarked on a trophy-laden stint with the Goan outfit. In his time with Churchill, Ravanan bagged an I-League title, Federation Cup, Durand Cup and the IFA shield making him one of the most decorated footballers at his age. The 28 year-old defender featured in all 14 games of the first edition of the Indian Super League for FC Pune City and will look to have the same impact on the squad this year too.
